I am a dedicated healthcare professional, who began my career earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley.  I continued my studies of the health sciences by becoming a Registered Nurse, and ultimately obtaining a Master of Science degree in Leadership and Administration from California State East Bay.  I am an experienced clinician with over 10 years of experience as a nurse in the neonatal ICU, supporting parents through the stress of parenting in the midst of extensive medical intervention.  It has always been my goal to advocate for parent-child bonding, especially by empowering parents in breast and chest feeding, even during times of separation between parent and newborn.  Lyvh, Love, Latch is an expansion of these specialized services, to reach the broader community, and instill healthy practices for parents and newborns beyond the hospital setting.
